Between the on going battle of Intel's dominance in especially the server CPU space which had been overthrown by the EPYC CPUs of AMD which were quite cheaper as compared to that of Intel's and provided much more than intel could , the Entry of Amazon in the field has completely flipped the board. To power the AWS server amazon had bought the Annapurna labs of an Israel based company and this lab homed the invention of the Graviton2 , a 64 crore processor with 2.5 GHz and 32 Mb of cache supporting 8X DDR4 memory at 3200MHz . Added to these it uses the ARM's Neoverse N1 cores, a derivative of the A76 cores which were used in the best phones launched recently. The result of Anandtech's per dollar performance test which showed that, it is 40% better than the AMD EPYC 7571 and the Intel Xeon Platinum 8259CL which is done by completion time in hour multiplied with cost per hour to get the cost per workload number.

As the server side performance is all about the cost with this in the real world, performance of the data centre space will be shifted from AMD to ARM. Graviton2 will not only reshape the the data centre market it will also alter the whole technoscape since the year 2020.
